Sagebrush Sea

Sagebrush Sea

Give me a silver sagebrush sea,

To sail on the back of a solid steed.

Where the wind rushes down the cooleys

And dances across my sun skimmed skin.

Where waves of grass ripple with pops of purple and yellow and red wildflowers.

Where islands of willows hide secret creeks and moose and strays.

Where the bluebird skies teem with red tailed hawks and ring with an Eagle’s scream.

Where the world is raw and wild and free.

And there will my heart find peace.
